THE
EVENT

GETTING
THERE
LOCATION
With only 8,000 people in the entire county, Warren County is one of Indiana's most rural parts of the state. Your GPS might take you to the neighbors', but you're close. Look for pine trees down the driveway and party lights in the back!
ACCOMMODATION
Approach the evening like you would if you were going on a camping trip with buddies. Tents can be provided though they are limited, so bring your own if you have it.
FAQ
Q: Why is it called "The End of the World"?
A: "The End of the World" started in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic when some claimed it would end the world as we knew it. Fall 2020 was one of the first times friends and family had the chance to see each other in-person since the beginning of the outbreak and it's stayed an annual event as an excuse for friends and family to gather.
Q: What should I bring?
A: If you're not from around these parts, plan to stay the night and bring what you'd normally take camping. Most importantly, bring a tent and your choice of bedding. If you don't have those things, ask your host and they may be able to help you out. See the next question for food and beverage recommendations.
Q: Should I bring any food or beverages?
A: Your favorite snack or side dish to share with the group is encouraged and if you don't like keg beer or soda, something to drink on is recommended.
Q: Should I bring my kids?
A: Kids are welcome, though there will be alcohol present so keep that in mind!
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Unless your pup has already been introduced to the Pintar family Goldens, your dog is best left at home.
Q: What if it's cold or rainy?
A: The End of the World will come regardless of weather. A bonfire and heaters will keep you warm, but do dress accordingly.
Q: Will I have to hike to the party or campsite?
A: Not at all. Leave your car only a few strides from the campground.
Q: I'm a wuss and hate camping. What should I do?
A: First, grow up. Should that fail, ask your host if there's any accommodation they can make for you.
Q: What's the bathroom situation?
A: For those comfortable, the bathroom situation is the woods. Facilities are otherwise located in the house about 150 yards away from the campsite.
Q: I gotta check my socials. Will I have cell service or WiFi there?
A: Don't count on it.
Q: I'm city folk and rarely leave the comforts of civilization, why should I drive an hour outside of town when I can take a five minute Uber to the nearest bar?
A: It's the end of the world, avoid populated areas.
